The reason for exclusion of Chelsea star, Victor Moses from
the 24 man list released by Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr to tackle the
Bafana Bafana of South Africa has been revealed.
Moses was left out of the all important African Cup of
Nations qualifying encounter billed for Uyo on June 10.
Moses was the shock exclusion due to his fine form for
Chelsea in the just concluded season in England.

But one of the team’s official told Own Goal that Moses’
exclusion was the decision of the coach, plus the fact that the player, who
just wedded, is also set to undergo surgery.
“Rohr has picked those he believes will get the job done
given the time spent together in Corsica and Paris. Some other players will
step up to the challenge and the Super Eagles will be better for it.

“Aside that, Victor Moses is out owing to medical reasons.
He will be having surgery on his toe in the coming weeks,” the official said.
