Osinbajo commissions projects in Zamfara

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, on Tuesday, commissioned a 52 kilometers Gummi/Sokoto/Kebbi federal road reconstructed by the Zamfara State Government.

Osinbajo described the reconstruction of the road as a laudable achievement aimed at linking up the rural and urban centres.

The acting president also commended governor Abdul’Aziz Yari Abubakar  for his foresight in complementing Federal Government’s efforts in the provision of dividends of democracy to the people.

“Despite the economic challenges, the federal government under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari have being keeping our electioneering promises of bringing positive change to the country,” Osinbajo said.

Governor Yari, in his remark, said his administration would continue to embark and implement people-oriented programmes and policies to ensure the development of all parts of the state.

Other projects inaugurated by the acting president were the Government Day Secondary School, Danturai, Gusau, rebuilt by the state government and Government Girls Unity School, Kotorkoshi, Government Girls Secondary School, Talata Mafara.

Others were a semi-urban water project and the General Hospital in Rini and Gamji communities in Bakura Local Government Area of the state.
